SMAE students visited University of St Andrews, UK

From 15 July to 6 August, students of Mechanical innovation class visited University of St Andrews, UK and stayed there for 3 weeks to participate the Summer School of Creative Engineering.

Within the 3 weeks, the students completed two engineering practice project, studied engineering and innovation courses, including the courses of robot and wind turbines. The courses requested the students to rely on the given material to complete the design, production and testing in the limited time. In the third week, the students needed to do a presentation on the topic of ‘Wind turbine projects’.

In the spare time, the students visited the University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, Falkirk Wheel and Queensferry Crossing.
