The National United Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Components Technology (NUEL-ACT)

The National United Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Components Technology (NUEL-ACT) is an R&D platform approved by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in December of 2015.

As a laboratory for research, development and application of automotive components technology, NUEL-ACT was established under the support of some leading University and industry companies such as South China University of Technology (SCUT),  Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd (GAC Group) (Shanghai Stock Exchange:601238), EVE batteries (Shenzhen Stock Exchange:300014), and Ningbo Tuopu Group (Shanghai Stock Exchange:601689).

Currently, NUEL-ACT’s facilities include laboratory building of more than 3000 square meters, and more than 40 primary equipments with the value of over 50 million RMB assets. Some of laboratory’s testing capabilities are certified by CNAS.

The mission of NUEL-ACT: To promote China automotive components industry which has been left behind by the fast development China’s automotive industry, NUEL-ACT will provide a comprehensive technical service and intellectual support to china automotive components industry based on the research capabilities of School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in SCUT.

6).Development of advanced components for new energy vehicles and autonomous vehicles.  

NUEL-ACT can provide technical services of development and testing on aforementioned automotive components and sub-systems to automotive components industry.
