Recently, academician Qiu Dingfan visited Guangdong Key Laboratory of New Material Preparation and Forming of our school. Academician Qiu Dingfan is the academician of our school, is also a well-known experts in the field of China's non-ferrous metallurgy, China's low-carbon technology and recycling economy advocates.

On September 4, with the accompany of Prof. Chen Weiping, Deputy Dean of our school, academician Qiu Dingfan inspected the metal recycling laboratory, surface engineering laboratory of the provincial key laboratory.In the symposium, the Provincial Key Laboratory reported on the latest research work, such as ‘Study on Reclaimed Aluminum Melt Refining’, ‘Modification of Regenerated Aluminum’ and ‘Study on Comprehensive Utilization of Aluminum’ and so on. After listening to the report, Qiu expressed his affirmation and encouragement to the pioneering research work of the key laboratories in conforming to the trend of green development.
