On June 2nd, 2016, B&R Industrial Automation Co., Ltd. and School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (hereinafter SMAE), South China University of Technology jointly built a laboratory name ‘Industrial Equipment and Control Laboratory’ in Building 19th of the school. Representatives of the two parties, who are Mr. Franz Enhuber, Dean of Automated Institute from B&R and Prof. Peng Xiangfang, Deputy Dean of the School, signed the cooperation contract. Mr. Zhou Jin, Manager of B&R, Mr. Huo Minrui and Mr. Wen Zhanfei from B&R Guangzhou Branch, Prof. Li Lin and Professors from SMAE participated in and witnessed the signing ceremony.
During the meeting, Prof. Peng made a brief introduction of the SMAE and introduce the cooperation background. And Mr. Franz Enhuber made a brief introduction of B&R. After the meeting and signing ceremony, an opening ceremony was held, and the representatives visited the laboratories of the 29th building.
