On April 25th ,2016, Prof. Monika Ivantysynova from Maha laboratory of Purdue University began her exchange visits at South China University of Technology for a period of two days.
Her research topics includes the optimization of hydraulic component design, advanced system solutions, motion control with electro-hydraulic actuation and the development of design algorithms. The current research efforts also include the development of new energy saving hydraulic actuators for heavy duty manipulators and robots as well as new actuator solutions and controls for aircraft system applications. She has published approximately 75 papers in technical journals and at international conferences. Prof. Ivantysynova is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Fluid Power published by TuTech and Fluid Power Net International.
Prof. Ivantysynova, held some relevant lectures on the evening of April 25th, April 26th and April 27th respectively. Through her own experiences and thoughts, Prof. Ivantysynova put forward some valuable opinions on all kinds of problems that she has encountered in the scientific research. Let the students and business people to fully appreciate the joy of research and understanding on the development of the enterprise. And the speeches also help students and engineering staffs to recognize the importance of independent analysis and solving problem skills, to develop the realistic, and the importance of serious scientific attitude.
