On March 21st, Prof. Gu Peihua, Executive President of Shantou University, academician of Canadian Academy of Engineering and Prof. Chen Yan, Director of Research Department visited our school. Prof. Zhang Xian Min, Dean of SAME accompanied them to visit the Robot innovation support platform, Photovoltaic Energy Equipment Laboratory, Precision Equipment Laboratory and so on.
Prof. Zhang Xianmin briefly introduced the overview of precision equipment and manufacturing technology laboratory, Key Laboratory of Guangdong Province, the research, application area and significance of each research platform. Both parties had in-depth conversation about scientific research applied to related industries, and both agreed that scientific research should not only have guiding significance to further explore areas, but also have a positive role in promoting the development of related industries.
Prof Gu Peihua very much agreed with our research in promoting the related industries, and hoped the lab members could make further efforts to bring scientific research and coordinated development.
