6th International Conference on Computational Heat and Mass Transfer, Guangzhou, China, 2009
time: 2015-12-31

The 6th International Conference on Computational Heat and Mass Transfer took place in May 2009 in Guangzhou, China. The conference is sponsored by South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China; University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

The goal of the meeting was to provide a forum for the exposure and exchange of ideas, results and work in progress in computational heat and mass transfer. The keynote lectures and contributed papers covered the following topics:

Macro, Micro and Nano fluid flow and heat transfer
     Turbulent flow
Flow and transport in Porous Media
     Combustion
Pollution Dispersion in air, water and soil
     Two phase flow
     Radiative heat transfer
     Phase change, etc.

This is the 6th meeting of the series. The first meeting was held in 1999, North Cyprus founded by Dr. Mohamad followed by a series of meeting in Reo de Janeiro (Brazil, 2001); Banff (Canada, 2003); Paris (France, 2005), Canmore (Canada, 2007).
