From 9th to 13th March, 2015, Prof. John Henry Lumkes from University of Purdue visited our school, and gave a series of lectures on the topic of DSP and Control Engineering to our students. The lectures received favorable comments from the teachers and students of our school.
Prof. John Henry Lumkes is the Deputy Director of the International Engineering Programs of University of Purdue, and have taken charged of the exchange programs between the two universities for years. During this visit, Prof. John Henry Lumkes had a meeting with Prof. Shangguan, Deputy Dean of our school and the responsible person of Foreign Affairs of School of Electronic and Information Engineering and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The two parties discussed the possibilities to explore the bilateral cooperation to more fields.
