Brief Introduction of Prof. Gao,

Professor Bin Gao is professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, University of Florida (UF). He was a research assistant of Cornell University and a postdoctoral research assistant of Yale University. He received his doctorate degree in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and his degree of Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Nanjing University. Professor Bin Gao is currently engaged the studies of water quality and environmental sustainability, including environmental nanotechnology, biochar technology and pollutant hydrology. He published more than 200 peer reviewed research papers in the top journals, and published 1 book and 8 chapters. 26 of the papers he published are "highly cited" paper. He also won a number of famous awards, including the professional Professor Award of University of Florida, Honorary Professor Award of the research foundation, the Gamma Sigma Delta Outstanding Young Professor Achievement Award, the Giglia Donation Award, Outstanding Youth Research Award of the Agricultural and Bioengineering Association of USA and the Young Scholar Career Development Award of State Scientific Foundation of USA.
