2018-05-25The following guidebooks present international scholars with detailed step-by-step introductions on procedures to visit or work at SCUT. These guidebooks are part of our efforts to facilitate the arrival and residence of international scholars, and to ease the transition of foreign nationals into the campus community.
SCUT is committed to solving the world's pressing problems with prestigious partners across the globe. Joint institutes at SCUT serve as platforms to integrate the University's worldwide research interests and efforts spanning academic disciplines. We hope you will join us.
To work and live in a new environment is never easy in the beginning, with unfamiliar surroundings and even a new culture to explore and navigate. With an aim to help our international scholars fit into this new community and new culture easier, we have been collecting and updating living information for you all the time. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us; if you have some new discovery and experience, we look forward to sharing them across the community.
The International Scholars Club (ISC) is hosted by the SCUT International Scholars and Joint Institutes Office. It is designed to provide opportunities for international scholars at SCUT to expand their social networks, to explore Chinese culture and customs, and to get involved in the community more easily. In addition, it helps us understand more about the difficulties and needs of international scholars.
Scheduled to be held every six to eight weeks on Thursday afternoons, ISC is always here to help you feel welcomed, get settled, and to serve as a source of enrichment for your stay at SCUT. Please feel free to contact us with any questions: Tel: 020-87114946, Email: experts@scut.edu.cn
