Title: Dietary fibre complexity: Structure and interactions ofglucomannan polysaccharides in plant cell walls
Lecturer: Paul Dupree (University of Cambridge)
Time:10:00-11:00AM, Wednesday, 11th September, 2024
Venue:Dongtang Hall, No.13 Building, Wushan campus
Welcome all the teachers and students to come!
About the lecturer:
Paul Dupree, Professor of Plant cell biology, in the department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge. Research in the DupreeGroup involves using genetic, biochemical and microbiological techniques, inconjunction with mass spectrometry- and nuclear magnetic resonance-basedmethods, to study the structure, synthesis and trafficking pathways of plantcell wall polysaccharides. Prof Dupree is interested in applying knowledge ofplant cell wall polysaccharides to improve dietary fibre in foods.
