Based on the analysis of microbial fermentation liquor, our team member, professor Neng-wu Zhu proposed a new method for leaching indium from liquid crystal display with oxalic acid, which significantly improved the leaching efficiencies, shortened the leaching time, and further clarified the reactive mechanism among oxalic acid, indium and the co-existing oxides.
