  • Water and wastewater treatment research, specifically on degradation of organic pollutants by using ozone advanced oxidation technology and advanced oxidation technology based on sulfate radicals.

  • Research on the efficient removal of VOCs by ozone advanced oxidation technology, advanced oxidation technology based on sulfate radicals, and biological filtration methods.

  • Environmental analysis technology research, aimed to develop rapid detection methods for pollutants in the environment.

Curriculum Vitae

  • Prof. Zhang received her Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University in 2002 and was a visiting scholar at Rugters University from 2008 to 2009. Her studies mainly focus on technical research and application of water pollution control theory and technology, ecological engineering and environmental remediation, environmental analysis and environmental functional materials. In recent years, she has hosted and completed more than 20 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as provincial and municipal industry-academia-research projects, and projects entrusted by industry-academia-research and enterprises. So far, she has published more than 70 academic papers, including more than 30 SCI papers, and has been granted 7 invention patents.
