Educational experience

  • She graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology, and received the undergraduate and graduate degrees in Marine Biology and Environmental Microbiology from Xiamen University, respectively.

Field of research

  • Basic theory and technology of joint bioremediation of polluted environments, with emphasis on molecular ecology of environmental microorganisms in the remediation process of polluted environments;

  • study of heavy metal-mineral interactions and biogeochemistry
