On the afternoon of June 21, the Party Member Conference and Party Building Theme Day of the College of Biological Sciences and Engineering was held at B2-335 on the campus of the University City. More than 230 people from the college's faculty members and student party members participated in the event. The conference was presided over by Wu Chunnian, Party Committee of the College.

The conference officially began after singing the solemn National Anthem. After strict procedures and by secret ballot, the conference elected the party committee of the college to participate in the school's seventeenth party congress representatives: Xiao Botao, Wu Chunnian, Yi Zhen, Han Shuangyan, Lu Yanping (graduate). At the same time, according to the requirements of the party organizations at the higher level, the meeting carried out the recommendation for the candidate candidates for the two committees of the school party committee.
