The School offers three undergraduate departments: Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical engineering, which includes 806 undergraduate students. Our school-running idea is to uphold engineering characteristics, to strengthen science studies, and to train practical talented persons for bioscience and engineering. Since the founding of the School, faculty members have finished 6 teaching research projects, have published 15 textbooks, and have won 1 Excellent Teaching Achievement Award at the provincial level. In addition, Bioengineering specialty has been evaluated as famous specialty of Guangdong Province. Industrial Microbiology and Enzyme Engineering have been awarded as excellent courses of Guangdong Province.
