Short Course on Control of Smart Materialand Application In Vehicle Control 2012

     There were 12 lectures given by experts at home and abroad 2012. In July, professor SubhashRakheja, working at Concordia University of Canada, was invited to the lab and give2weeks short courses and academic report on the control of smart material and applicationin vehicle control.

     Professor Subhash Rakheja was an distinguishedexpert in vehicle engineering and human engineering. He had done series theoryand application researches in vehicle system dynamics and control, ergonomics, andmechanical and electrical integration. His researches achievements have beenwell known of the world, with more than 400 published papers in some famousacademic journals, including 150 SCI papers, 180 international conferencepapers, SCI papers cited nearly one thousand times.

     Professor Subhash Rakhejataught the profile of aerodynamics, hydrodynamics and control theory, explainingprofound theories in simple language. He mainly analyzed the characteristics ofvibration of vehicle systems and how to realize the vibration reduction designand performance optimization by using intelligent materials
