On December 28, 2017, the Second Technical and Academic Committee of the First Technical Committee of the National Engineering Laboratory for VOCs Pollution Control Technologies and Equipment and the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Atmospheric Environment and Pollution Control was held in Guangzhou. Academician Hao Jiming of Tsinghua University, Academician Hou Lian of Rocket Logistics Science and Technology, Prof. Chen Jianmin of Fudan University, Chai Fahe Researcher of Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, Professor Xiao Fengshou of Zhejiang University, Researcher Wang Xinming of Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Shao Min of Jinan University Prof. Jiang Benji of the University of Taiwan, Professor Ye Daiqi from South China University of Technology and other experts and the person in charge of the council’s member units attended the meeting.
On the afternoon of the 28th, Hao Jiming, the director of the National Engineering Laboratory Technical Committee of the VOCs pollution control technology and equipment, presided over and read the welcome speech. Later, Prof. Hu Yun and Prof. Huang Shaobin reported on the annual work of the National Engineering Laboratory and the annual work of the key laboratory of Guangdong Province.
At the meeting, the participating experts and members of the Board of Directors had integrated the personnel training of national engineering laboratories and provincial key laboratories, organic integration of science, technology, and engineering, complemented the advantages of national engineering laboratories and provincial key laboratories, and applied new technologies and equipment to the environment. Many important constructive suggestions and opinions have been put forward.
Academician Hao Jiming pointed out that the preparatory work for the National Engineering Laboratories is generally a good start, and the work progress has reached Grade A, and the national engineering laboratory personnel are encouraged to carry out the later work according to the construction acceptance target.
