I received my doctorate in human geography from Sun Yat sen University. During my doctoral period, I was funded by the National Scholarship Council. I studied in the Department of Geographic Research of Olu University, Finland, as a joint doctoral student for one year. My academic background is tourism geography and planning, mainly focusing on tourism governance in nature reserves, rural homestay and tourism entrepreneurship, as well as digital technology and revolutionary tourism. At present, I am committed to using cutting-edge theories and methods of political ecology to analyze the human environment relationship and power practices in the context of tourism development, with the aim of promoting the transformation of sustainable tourism development from theory to action. Kanas in Xinjiang, Mogan Mountain in Zhejiang and Yangshuo in Guangxi are geographical research areas that I have followed for a long time. At present, my relevant research achievements have been published in Tourism Management, Tourism Journal, Geographic Research, Journal of Natural Resources and other journals, and many of them have been reprinted in full by the National People's Congress.
