Profile


Li Fangxuan is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Tourism Management Department of South China University of Technology, a candidate of the South China Sea Star talent project in Hainan Province, and a high-level talent in Hainan Province. Its main research direction is tourism marketing and tourist behavior in the era of digital intelligence. In recent years, as the first author or corresponding author, 73 papers have been published in top international journals in the field of tourism management, such as Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, and Journal of Travel Research. Among them, 63 SSCI papers have been published, and 3 papers have been selected as ESI highly cited papers. He presided over 9 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Hainan Province, and the Social Science Foundation of Hainan Province. As the first person to complete his research, his research achievements have won many awards, such as the Best Paper Award in 2024 in Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, EMERALD AWARDS, and the Second Prize for Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Hainan Province.
