Self-Introduction: 

Zhen Du earned her Bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Sichuan University in 2019. Under the supervision of Prof. Mingming Ding, his undergraduate research focused on designing thioether alkylation-driven conformational switches in polypeptides. She then joined the doctoral program at the South China University of Technology (SCUT), co-advised by Prof. Stephen Z. D. Cheng and Prof. Wen Tang. Her Ph.D. work pioneered the design and self-assembly of POSS-peptide giant surfactants, a hybrid system combining polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) cages with bioactive peptide sequences.
