Hosted by Chinese Association for Science of Science and S&TPolicy and organized by Shenzhen University, the 17th Annual Conference of Chinese Science and Technology Policy and Council of Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy was held in Shenzhen University (Lihu Campus) on October 16th-17th, 2021. Fang Xin, honorary president of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy, Mu Rongping, president of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy, and nearly 600 scholars from domestic universities, research institutes and industries attended the conference.
With the theme of "Building a National Innovation System for Self-reliance and Self-improvement", the conference consists of report, high-level dialogue, youth dialogue and sub-sessions.Professor Li Shenghui from SPA and two doctoral and master students participated in the sub-session themed with “the Development and Utilization of Scientific and technological Human Resources under the National Strategy of Strengthening the Country through Talents", and "How can scientific and technological Talents drive Regional innovation?-- Configuration Analysis Based on the Perspective of Classification and Evaluation".
At the sub-session, professor Li Shenghuiwas invited to participate in the roundtable discussion on the predicament of the practice of the evaluation of science and technology, system design and system optimization.
