Recently, the Project Proposal meeting of the National Social Science Fund of China in 2020 was successfully held in Conference Room 204.

The 5 experts from the Supervisory Committeewere: Professor Ni Xing fromSchool of Politics and Public Administration of the South China Normal University; Jiang Zhongxiao, editor-in-chief of Guangdong Social Science Magazine; Professor Shi Chuanlin from School of Public Management of South China Agricultural University; Professor Huang Dongya fromSchool of Politics and Public Affairs Management of Sun Yat-sen University; Professor Li Wenbin, School of Public Administration of South China University of Technology.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Li Shenghui, Vice Dean of SPA. Li Pengfei from the Social Science Department of the South China University of Technology also attended the meeting.

Vice Dean Prof. Li Shenghui gave a speech and briefly introduced the main achievements in the field of humanities and social sciences in recent years. He said that the Project Proposal meeting provided a good opportunity for humanities and social science workers to learn from each other and exchange views. He hoped that the researchers and person in charge would strive for more high-level achievements, and make greater contributions to accelerating the integration of researches and the mainstream discipline system.

During the meeting, each person in charge of the project reported from aspects of research background, research problems, overall research route, concrete research content and research programs, and so on. Then, experts from the Supervisory Committee provided suggestions on research ideas, research feasibility and so on.
