The keynote speaker was Prof. Zhu Ganwei, professor of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University, who delivered a speech themed with “The Three Mechanisms and Challenges of National Governance”.

At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Zhu clarified the definition of a national governance mechanism. By introducing the AGIL analytical framework proposed by sociologist Talcott Parsons, Professor Zhu put forward the analytical framework of governance mechanisms, namely organizational mechanism, institutional mechanism, and value mechanism. With a clear and concise framework, students quickly grasped the main ideas of the national governance mechanism.

While explaining the meaning of the three mechanisms, Professor Zhu familiarized students with the characteristics of the national governance mechanism through horizontal and vertical comparison between political events and the US national governance mechanism.

Subsequently, from the perspective of organization, institution, and value, Professor Zhu gave an in-depth and detailed analysis of the challenges facing national governance in recent development. Finally, Professor Zhu concluded that the organizational, institutional, and value mechanisms all work together during the process of national governance, and positive interaction of the three mechanisms is crucial to the effectiveness of national governance.

Through Professor Zhu's insightful speech, the students learned a lot and had an in-depth understanding of the connotation, significance, and challenges of the national governance mechanism.

At the end of the lecture, the audience expressed their thanks to Professor Zhu with warm applause.
