On October 14, the 4th Guangzhou MPA Team Badminton Competition was successfully held in the Lion Badminton Hall. After five hours of fierce competition, the MPA delegation of SCUT continued the glory of 2017 and won the second place for the 2018 game. The badminton team competition was organized by the MPA Alliance of Guangzhou Universities and hosted by Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. Six MPA delegation teams attended the competition.

The competition was conducted in a round robin manner. For the five rounds, the SCUT delegation fighted against the representatives from South China Agricultural University, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Sun Yat-sen University, South China Normal University and Jinan University, and finally ranked the 2nd place.

The SCUT team not only won honor for our university with a high level of sporting excellence, but also strengthened the cohesion between teachers and students through the competition, showing a positive spirit and striving nature of SCUT.
