The symposium themed with “The Third Party Appraisal on Government Performance and Think Thank Construction” held in SCUT

On June 17, the symposium themed with“The Third Party Appraisal on Government Performance and Think Thank Construction” was held in SUCT. With the National Institute of Government Performance Management as a host, the symposium was co-sponsored by the SCUT Center for Legal Evaluation and Research, the School of Public Administration and the Center of Government Performance Evaluation. The vice president of SCUT, PENG Xinyi, was present at the forum and made the welcome speech. The heads of the co-sponsors also attended the symposium.

The symposium extended the discussion in the following topics: the third party appraisal on the local government overall performance of Guangdong Province for the past ten years, promoting government reform in the means of the third party appraisal, and the new-type think thank construction and so forth. There were around 50 experts from all over the country attended, including but not limited to: Prof. GAO Xiaoping who concurrently hold the post as the Chairman of the National Institute of Government Performance Management and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Chinese Public Administration Society; Prof. BO Guili from the Chinese Academy of Governance, Prof. ZHANG Kangzhi from Renmin University of China, Prof. ZHOU Zhiren from Peking University, Deputy Editor SUN Mo from Social Sciences in China, President BAO Jing from Chinese Public Administration, Editor HU Yuanzi from Xinhua Wenzhai.
