On the evening of December 10, 2010, the 2nd Youth Public Management Salon was held successfully in Pavilion 5. Dr. LIN Tingjing, the research fellow from the Graduate School of Public Administration of Nanyang Technological University, was invited to give us a speech entitled with “Explaining the Promotion Speed of Top Provincial Leaders in China (1978-2008)”. During the lecture, Dr LIN introduced the theory framework, the research methods, the empirical analysis route and his basic findings in progress. All in all, his rigorous academic attitude and humorous language left us a deep impression. In the Q&A session, the students involved in the issue talked enthusiastically and raised many questions; Dr LIN also gave us artful response.
