报告摘要：
The Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (http://mi.wisc.edu/) is mainly focused on three areas: 1) development of multimodality molecular imaging agents; 2) nanobiotechnology and its biomedical applications; and 3) molecular therapy of cancer and various other diseases. In this talk, I will present our representative work on molecular imaging and image-guided drug delivery of cancer and other diseases with peptides, proteins, and a variety of nanomaterials. The primary imaging techniques used in these studies are positron emission tomography (PET), photoacoustic tomography (PAT), optical imaging, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The nanomaterials that will be discussed in this presentation may include lipid nanoparticles, silica-based nanoparticles, COVID-19 nanovaccines, DNA nanomaterials, micelles, iron oxide nanoparticles, 2-D nanomaterials, hybrid nanomaterials, among others.

蔡伟波, 欧洲科学院院士 (Member of Academia Europaea, MAE),美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校（University of Wisconsin - Madison）放射学系、医学物理系、材料科学与工程系、药学系的Vilas杰出成就教授（有终身教职）, 主要从事分子影像, 诊疗一体化，及生物纳米科技的研究（实验室网站：http://mi.wisc.edu）。蔡伟波教授1995年毕业于南京大学基础学科教学强化部（化学专业），2004年于美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校（UCSD）获化学博士学位，2005至2008年在美国斯坦福大学分子影像中心从事博士后研究。从2008 年起，蔡伟波教授在威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校独立建组开始学术研究，并于2014年晋升为副教授（有终身教职），2018 年晋升为Vilas杰出成就教授。
蔡伟波教授目前已发表学术论文 > 450篇, 包括(共同)第一或(共同)通讯作者的Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Reviews, PNAS, National Science Review, Nature Communications, Chemical Society Reviews, Accounts of Chemical Research, Matter，Cancer Research, Advanced Materials, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Diabetes, Stroke, Nature Protocols, Clinical Cancer Research, Journal of Controlled Release, Journal of Nuclear Medicine,EJNMMI 等, 论文被引用5万余次，h-index 为116 (Google Scholar）。同时，出版了3本学术专著（包括Springer和CRC Press），已受邀作400多个学术口头报告, 并参与美国NIH/DOD/NSF/ACS/CPRIT的科研基金评审及诸多其他国家（加拿大，中国，欧洲十几个国家）的科研基金评审。蔡伟波教授是Journal of Nanobiotechnology (JNB, 影响因子: 12.6，中科院一区) 的主编，American Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (AJNMMI，影响因子: 1.8) 的创刊执行主编, 和The EANM Journal 的执行主编。
蔡伟波教授已获得了诸多学术奖励，包括美国核医学与分子影像学会（SNMMI）青年学术委员会最佳基础科学研究奖（2007），欧洲核医学学会（EANM）斯普林格奖（2011 & 2013），美国癌症学会研究学者奖（2013），欧洲核医学学会年会全会报告嘉宾 （Plenary Lecturer，2016，第一个华人)，威斯康星大学Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professorship 奖 (2017),美国医学与生物工程院（American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, AIMBE）会士 (2018)，美国核医学与分子影像学会会士 (2019, 入选时为唯一华人及最年轻的会士)，英国皇家化学会会士 (2021), SNMMI Michael J. Welch奖 (2022), 《纳米生物科技》开拓者奖 (BMC/Springer Nature, 2022)，美国科学促进会（AAAS）会士（2024）,英国皇家生物学会 (RSB) 会士 (2025), AIMBE 专业影响力奖-导师奖（Professional Impact Award for Mentoring，2025，第一个华人），欧洲科学院院士 (Member of Academia Europaea, MAE, 2026) 等。也先后入选科睿唯安（Clarivate Analytics）全球高被引科学家和斯坦福大学全球前2%科学家榜单（终身和年度榜单：2020-现在）。
蔡伟波教授也和多个公司有各种科研合作，并先后担任30余个学术期刊的编委（包括Theranostics, Journal of Nuclear Medicine, European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Molecular Pharmaceutics，Bioconjugate Chemistry,American Journal of Cancer Research, Exploration等）。蔡伟波教授也在美国核医学与分子影像学会（SNMMI）中担任过多个重要职位，比如评奖委员会（Committee on Awards）成员 (2014-现在)，放射性药物分会（Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Council，RPSC）主任委员，等等。
蔡伟波教授所指导的本科生，博士生，博士后和访问学者已经累计获得超过160项学术奖励，其中包括SNMMI Berson-Yalow奖（2012），欧洲核医学学会 Eckert & Ziegler 最佳摘要奖（2015）, 多个海外优青，十多人获得SNMMI 青年学者奖，及多人获得中美核医学及分子影像学会（CASNMMI）青年学者奖等。超过15位蔡伟波教授指导的学生和博士后（不包括已有职位的访问学者）已经在世界知名院校 (e.g. University of Wisconsin - Madison, Seoul National University,Purdue University, University of Utah, Michigan State University, Rutgers University, 上海交通大学，浙江大学，南京大学，华中科技大学，同济大学等等) 独立建组开展研究工作。
