个人简介：

Daniel Jaque obtained his “Certificate in Physics” by the Sussex University (UK) in 1995. He got the PhD degree in 1999. In 2008 he founded the Nanomaterials for Bioimaging Group (NanoBIG). Since then, he is focused on the use of luminescent nanoparticles for bioimaging, biosensing and pre-clinical diagnosis and therapy. Prof. Daniel Jaque has been Visiting Professor in China, Brazil, Australia and UK and currently serves as Vice-President of Research of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. During last years, nanoBIG has contributed to the development of biophotonics by achieving unique advances in the field including the use of optical tweezers for single nanoparticle sensing, use of luminescent nanoparticles for thermal therapies, use of luminescent nanothermometers for preclinical diagnosis and the use of advanced spectroscopy for the characterization of colloidal nanoparticles.
