报告摘要:

Aggregation of dyes and organic semiconductors in thin films has a great impact on functional properties. Whilst for applications in organic solar cells broad panchromatic absorption bands are desired, the opposite is appreciated for organic photodetectors. In this talk I will show how excitonically coupled dye aggregates developed in our earlier research on bulk heterojunction solar cells afford highly efficient narrow-band photodetectors at desirable wavelengths in the visible to NIR spectral range.
