报告人简介:

Fengling Zhang, a professor of applied physics at Linköping University, is one of two highly cited researchers in her university ranked by Thomson Reuters in 2014 (http://highlycited.com/) in the field of Materials Science. Since 2001 she has published 118 journal articles with total citation more than 7000 times.

Her research is focused on organic solar cells and electrochromic smart windows. Organic solar cells developed in last two decades can provide affordable clean electricity because they are solution processing, flexible, light-weight and semi-transparent devices. Polymer electrochromic smart windows have potential applications in buildings and vehicles to save electricity for space cooling by modulating incident light intensity. Combining above two, a solar-powered polymer electrochromic window was first demonstrated last year, which will simplify installation and is applicable for both new and existing buildings. Currently, her group is working on stable large solar-powered organic electrochromic windows and detecting bioluminescence with organic photodetectors.

 

报告摘要:

The progress of organic photovoltaic is very impressive.It is the time to transfer the technique from small size devices to big module production.To low the cost of final products, exploring new kind of electron acceptor is necessary. Electricity generated by solar cells always with huge fluctuation due to the variation of the sunlight in daytime, which limits its application. Therefore, devicesstoring electricity from solar cells become more important. In addition, integrating transparent solar cells with other functional devices makes dual functional device possible. In our division, we parallel work onall above issues.I will present our effort on printing semi-transparent solar panels, soluble small molecule based Fullerene-Free Bulk-heterojunctionorganic solar cellsand solar powered polymer electrochromic smart windows for energy saving buildings.
