报告题目：Lessons from Studies of Charge and Electron Transfer in π-Electron Donor / Acceptor Systems

摘要：

In this seminar I will highlight some results of research in our laboratory on studies of electron donor and electron acceptor systems, focusing on intra- and intermolecular processes of electron and/or charge transfer in the systems. These will be particularly exemplified by (but not only) fluorene electron acceptors and dithiole- / tetrathiafulfalene-type donors and their studies by electrochemical and spectroscopic methods.

I will try to discuss what we can learn studying these systems and, in more general sense, to underline (for PhD and MSc students doing their research) that minor unexpected experimental observations could lead to interesting novel results in a research.
