Training Targets:

This program focuses on cultivating future senior specialized talents in materials science and engineering who possess asolid and extensive theoretical foundation as well as systematic and in-depth professional knowledge. Through studying relevant doctoral coursework and conducting cutting-edge research, the graduates shall be able to develop strong independent scientific research capabilities and achieve tools and techniques required for professional practice and solving societal problems.

 Study Duration:  

4 years. The maximum period of study will notexceed 7 years.

Minimum Total Credits: 11

Minimum Required Course Credits: 7          

Minimum Elective Course Credits: 4

Degree Application

Students shall complete the coursework and compulsory components specified in thetraining plan within the maximum study period. Upon meeting the graduation requirements and completing their doctoral dissertations, they may apply for the academic degree.
