附报告人简介:
Matthew Libera is a Professor of Materials Science at the Stevens Institute of Technology. His expertise focuses principally on the development and understanding of polymers and polymeric biomaterials. His current research centers on structured hydrogel-based materials with applications to: (1) making biomaterials surfaces that simultaneously promote healing while resisting infection; and (2) new molecular diagnostic technologies for the rapid detection of infection. Libera is Director of the Stevens Laboratory for Multiscale Imaging (LMSI), a multiuser facility with advanced capabilities for TEM, SEM, AFM, and confocal imaging, and he is an international leader in the development and application of advanced electron-microscopy techniques to soft materials. He has published more than 200 papers in Advanced Materials, Langmuir, Advanced Healthcare materials, Bimaterials, ACS Nano, Macromolecular, etc.
