附报告人简介：
       Kevin Cavicchi教授2006年1月起在亚克隆大学（University of Akron）任职。在此之前，他于1988年在康奈尔大学（Cornell University）获得材料科学与工程学士学位，于2003年在明尼苏达大学（University of Minnesota）获得材料科学与工程博士学位。2003-2005年在马萨诸塞大学安姆斯特分校（University of Massachusetts-Amherst）高分子科学与工程系做博士后研究工作。研究兴趣是纳米结构软材料的结构与性能关系，包括小分子有机凝胶的热力学、侧链结晶聚合物的合成与表征、超分子聚合物的合成、嵌段共聚物的离子相互作用、离子交联弹性体、聚电解质/表面活性质复合体系等。曾获奖项：NASA-Glenn Summer Faculty Fellow (2008, 2010)，American Chemical Society – Petroleum Research Fund Yong Investigator Award (2008)。
