Title:  Sharp boundary regularity properties in hypoelliptic kinetic equations

Abstract: 

The interplay between transport and degenerate diffusion in kinetic equations gives rise to hypoelliptic smoothing effect. Yet singular boundary sets inherent to kinetic transport flows impede the gain of regularity up to the boundary from reaching a level comparable to that achieved in the interior. We will discuss recent advances on boundary regularity for the Fokker-Planck-Landau model, highlighting sharp boundary behaviours of solutions.
