Title: Iterative methods for M-tensor equations and complementarity problem

Abstract:

    In this talk, we first present an iterative method for solving M-tensor equations. The subproblems of the methods are systems of linear equations with a constant M-linear equations that is independent of the iteration. We then extend the idea to develop a linearized method for solving the tensor complementarity problem with a strong M-tensor, which we call the M-tensor complementarity problem (M-TCP). The subproblem is not a direct linearization to the problem but can be solved by solving a linear complementarity problem. We show that if the initial point is appropriately chosen, the generated sequence of iterates converge s to the solution of the M-TCP monotonically. At last, we do numerical experiments to test the proposed methods. The results show the efficiency of the proposed methods.
