Title: Strong Marstrand's projection theorems for random sets in Euclidean and non-Euclidean spaces

Abstract：   

        In the first part of the talk, I will survey some results for random sets in Euclidean spaces. The main focus is on slicing and projection theorems with geometric applications. In the second part, I will discuss analogous results in two (related) non-Euclidean spaces: The Heisenberg group, and its compactification (S^3 considered as the boundary at infinity of the complex hyperbolic plane).
