Title:Regularity and Optimality Conditions for Optimization Problem withDisjunctive Constraint Hydrodynamics

Abstract:

    In this talk we consider optimization problems with the constraints having disjunctive structure, in particular, sparse constraint set can be written in this form. Based on the concepts of metric subregualrity and their characterization from generalized differentiation, we obtain the new stationarity concept of extended M-stationarity. Further, by negating the mixed regularity/subregularity, we may obtain the second order necessary optimality conditions for the optimization problems with union of finite many polyhedral sets. Finally, we apply these results to sparse constrained optimization problem.
