Title：Decay structure of _rst-order hyperbolic systems with partial dissipation

Abstract： In this talk I will present two recent works. One work, joint with Y. Ueda, is concerned with anisotropic di_usions of the damped Euler-Maxwell system around a constant background magnetic _eld. We show that the di_usion strength along directions perpendicular to the mag-netic direction is inversely proportional to the magnetic magnitude and also justify a generalized Darcy's law in such setting. The other work, joint with S. Kawashima's research group, is related to the study of decay structure of general partially dissipative hyperbolic systems including the damped Euler-Maxwell system. Particularly, we extend the classical KS condition into a much more general framework.
