To ensure a smooth and orderly test process, candidates choosing the South China University of Technology IELTS test center must be aware of and comply with the following campus entry regulations.
Transportation Routes:
Metro: Take Metro Line 3 (towards Tianhe Coach Terminal) to Wushan Station. From Exit C of Wushan Station, walk approximately 175 meters to the East Gate of South China University of Technology.
Bus: Take bus routes 197, 20, 755, 53, 23, or 32 to Huagongda Station, then walk about 344 meters to the East Gate of South China University of Technology.
Driving: Navigate to East Gate of South China University of Technology Wushan Campus or South Gate of South China University of Technology Wushan Campus.
Arrival at the Test Center:
Your computer-delivered test and speaking test center is located on the 5th floor of Building 4 at 381 Wushan Road, South China University of Technology. Candidates can enter the campus on foot via the South Gate or East Gate (near Exit C of Wushan Metro Station) by presenting their IELTS admission ticket. Follow the signage to Building 4. Alternatively, candidates can use mobile navigation to search for Building 4, Wushan Campus, South China University of Technology, follow the route to the entrance of Building 4, and then walk to the 5th floor IELTS test center. Social vehicles and accompanying personnel are not permitted on campus unless necessary.
Document Requirements:
Candidates must bring the original, valid identification document used for registration and their admission ticket to the test. Document and admission ticket verification, registration, and bag storage will take place on the 5th floor of Building 4. After verification, candidates will be guided by staff to enter the test room.
Reminders for Entry Time:
Candidates must pay attention to the following times and allow sufficient time for campus entry checks and on-campus travel to avoid being late.
Speaking Test: Arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before your speaking test. The latest entry time is 15 minutes before your speaking test time.
Computer-Delivered Test:
Morning session: Entry begins at 08:00 AM, and the latest entry time is 08:30 AM.
Afternoon session: Entry begins at 01:00 PM, and the latest entry time is 01:30 PM.
Other Reminders:
During the written test, raise your hand to alert the invigilator if you encounter any issues.
During the speaking test, press the bell to notify the invigilator in case of emergencies. After the speaking test, press the bell and wait for the invigilator’s confirmation before leaving as instructed.
After all tests are completed, leave the campus as soon as possible under the guidance of the test center staff.
