Speaker Introduction:

Professor David Monson was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended the University of Utah. Later, he received an MBA from Utah State University. He began his professional carrier as a CPA working in the Salt Lake City area before entering government service as an elected official in Utah and Washington DC. He held three public offices, Utah State Auditor, Utah Lt. (Vice) Governor and as a member of the U. S. House of Representatives. Following politics he returned to accounting, working for several small to large companies. He enjoys his four grandsons one granddaughter and three step grandsons, traveling, meeting people, reading, mostly novels, and sports, which is now limited to being a spectator, and trying to improve his own physical fitness.
