The Sino-French Institute (SFI) was formally founded in 2010, and inaugurated its university-level board as leadership of the institute. Ever since then, SFI hosted regular academic and education seminars, introduced the French education mode of elite engineers, and developed cooperation with French Network of Polytech Schools of Engineering, École Polytechnique, Polytech Nantes, Lyon 1, EFREI, CNAM etc., with a variety of programs including 3+1+2 (bachelor-engineer), 3+2 (bachelor-engineer/master), 1+1+1(double master), H-tech, exchange, internship, as well as the organized Sino-French Elite Class, facilitating a two-way mobility of 500 plus students.
