四、报告人简介
1. Csilla Stenger-Kovács (University of Pannonia, Center for Natural Sciences, Research Group of Limnology, Veszprém, Hungary)
Dr. Csilla Stenger-Kovács (DSc, PhD) is a full professor, research group leader and head of the MSc in Environmental Sciences degree program at the University of Pannonia in Hungary, where she is also the director of the Balaton Future Centre. She specializes in limnology and ecology, particularly benthic diatoms and the ecological assessment of freshwater ecosystems. She explores the taxonomic and functional diversity of aquatic communities, as well as how they respond to climate change and other environmental pressures.
2. Emil Boros (Department of Geography and Natural Sciences/Department of Aquatic Environmental Sciences, Ludovika University of Public Service, Budapest, Hungary)
Dr. Emil Boros (DSc, PhD) is a Hungarian senior researcher in ecology, nature conservation expert with more than thirty years of professional experience in the state and civil sectors on national and international levels. His main area of expertise is ecology and management of inland saline and soda ecosystems. He currently works at Ludovika University of Public Service, where he serves as professional coordinator of an EU LIFE Nature project, a member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the Hungarian National Committee of the Ramsar Convention.
3. Tamás Felföldi (Department of Microbiology, Eötvös Loránd University / Institute of Aquatic Ecology, HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research, Budapest, Hungary)
Dr. Tamás Felföldi is a microbiologist. His main research area is aquatic microbial ecology and molecular taxonomy. Currently, he studies the composition of microbial communities, the role of prokaryotic taxa in nutrient cycling, their adaptation to extreme conditions and biological interactions in soda and other saline lakes. He combines classic microbiological techniques with genomic tools. In parallel with these, he has isolated and described several species new to science.
