专家简介

Seth W. Snyder is the leader of Argonne National Laboratory’s water initiative.He is building a regional, national, and international energy-water research.His work in creating a regional public/private partnership formed the backbone for Current, a new Chicago research consortium.He is the Chief Scientist of Current. His work with federal staff and the other National Laboratories has significantly raised the priority of the energy-water nexus in the U.S. Department of Energy.

Dr. Snyder develops leading technologies in water treatment, bioenergy, and energy conversion. His works includes separations, desalination, anaerobic digestion, and bioconversions.He has been recognized with three R&D100 Awards and a Federal Laboratory Consortium Award for Excellence in Technology Transfer.He has published research in more than forty different journals, received eighteen patents, and presented at conferences on four continents over the past four years.
