报告摘要：

Carbon and 2D nanomaterials are showing very promising results in the biomedical field. They are explored for many biomedical applications, particularly for cancer treatment, due to their unique physicochemical characteristics. In this presentation, I will describe the characteristics of biodegradability and illustrate how an appropriate chemical modification of graphene materials render them more biocompatible and can accelerate their biodegradability. I will focus in particular on our recent results aiming to design a smart multifunctional graphene platform able to both selectively deliver a drug into cells in a targeted manner and displaying an enhanced propensity for enzymatic degradation. Finally, I will discuss the challenges on using graphene-based materials for cellular imaging.

个人简介：

Alberto Bianco教授，法国国家科学研究中心（CNRS）主任，石墨烯健康与环境旗舰工作组负责人，以访问科学家的身份在洛桑大学(瑞士)、图宾根大学(德国)和帕多瓦大学工作，于2017年当选为欧洲科学院院士，2019年获得法国国家科学研究中心银质奖章。Alberto Bianco教授是《Carbon》杂志的主编（2011年），美国化学学会成员，法国碳研究学会(SFEC)和国际石墨烯和纳米管研究网络(GDRI-GNT)董事会成员，同时也是纳米医学、纳米技术评论和肽科学杂志的顾问委员会成员。Alberto Bianco的研究兴趣集中在设计用于治疗、诊断和成像的多功能碳基纳米材料(碳纳米管、石墨烯和金刚烷)。
