The development of efficient and sustainable chemical processes (especially in terms of biobased chemicals and fuels synthesis) is currently the focus of many research activities, which opens great opportunities for the application of intensified reactor technologies. In this presentation, the recent research activities in our group along this direction will be introduced, with emphasis on the promising use of microreactor as well as centrifugal contactor and separator in a variety of (biobased) chemical processes. Typical reaction cases to be dealt with include sugar dehydration to furanics, oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, hydrogenation of levulinic acid, catalytic methane combustion, biodiesel synthesis, lactic acid and chiral extraction. The reactor engineering aspects (transport characteristics, process intensification potential) and chemistry insights (homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis, reaction mechanism) will be discussed particularly.

 

报告人简介:

乐军,1997年毕业于天津大学化工系工业催化专业,获本科学位。2008年获法国萨瓦大学和中国科学院大连化学物理研究所联合培养博士学位。2009年至2014年在荷兰埃因霍温理工大学从事博士后研究。20148月至今为荷兰格罗宁根大学助理教授,主要从事新型反应器技术(如微反应器、离心接触-分离器)的开发及其在高效化学和能源转化过程中的应用,研究重点之一在于生物质催化转化制能源和高附加值化学品。目前正指导博士生7名、硕士生4名。已在国际学术期刊如Green ChemistryLab on a ChipCatalysis TodayAIChE JournalChemical Engineering Journal等发表文章25篇,Web of Science引用次数700余次。
