Professor Xu focuses on the design and construction of bio-adhesivematerials. Professor Xu has published over 20 academic papers in top journals includingScience Translational Medicine, Nature Communications, ScienceAdvances, Advanced Functional Materials, and Biomaterials andshe has also acquired three domestic or international patents. Professor Xu hasbeen awarded with more than ten prestigious awards and honors, including the GoldMedal of Geneva International Invention Exhibition, Gold Award of the 5th ChinaInternet+ College Students Innovation and EntrepreneurshipCompetition and Talent Development Scholarship of Hong Kong Government.
