Xiaoling Fu, Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Nankai University and obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in the United States. After returning to China, she joined South China University of Technology. Prof. Fu has long been dedicated to research in biomaterials and regenerative medicine, with a particular focus on the development of stem cell-based cell-free therapeutic strategies and bioadaptative tissue repair materials. Her research achievements include over 30 SCI papers published as the first or corresponding author in high-impact journals such as PNAS, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Sciences, Biomaterials, Bioactive Materials, Advanced Healthcare Materials, Acta Biomaterialia,Research. She has applied for 12 national invention patents, with 3 granted, and has undertaken multiple national and provincial research projects, including the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Provincial Project, and Guangzhou Science and Technology Projects. She also authored one book-chapter and two textbooks. She serves as a member of the Intelligent Bionic Biomaterials Committee and the Rehabilitation Devices and Biomaterials Committee of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials.
