The Guangdong Provincial Intelligent Systems Control Engineering Research Center focuses on the major scientific and technological needs of intelligent manufacturing in China. Targeting international frontiers, the center conducts fundamental and applied research in areas such as robotics, intelligent control, and mechatronic systems. It has developed distinctive research directions, including multi-source signal fusion, biomimetic adaptive intelligent control, and human–machine teaching and collaboration. The center has published over 200 academic papers, including nearly 100 in internationally famous journals. It has undertaken more than 30 national, provincial, and enterprise-level research projects, with funding exceeding 20 million RMB. The center has applied for over 60 national invention patents, with more than 40 granted.
